Bo was raised on his family ranch in Burntfork Wyoming. He grew up working beside his Dad & Grandfather who taught him to be a conservative cattleman, businessmen, and to make the land and cattle work for you. He grew up with long days in the saddle moving cows, cutting haying, and calving cows. He also took to the sport of Rodeo and Team Roping at a very young age and excelled at it. Bo won a State Championship title in the Team Roping for the state of Utah as a senior. After high school Bo served a 2 year full time mission for the LDS church in New Zealand. He credits his mission for helping him establish the honesty & integrity which he now offers to the horse and cattle industry.
Following his mission Bo went to college on a full ride rodeo scholarship to Utah State University where he studied Business Management. He competed in college rodeo all 4 years and qualified for 3 CNFR trips to Casper Wyoming. After college, he went back to the family ranch in Wyoming and continued to work for his Grandpa and compete in PRCA Circut Rodeos on the side. In the Fall of 2006 Bo met the love of his life Mandy Johnson on a blind date. Later on in 2007 they married for time and all eternity in the Logan Utah LDS Temple. Bo and Mandy now live on their own small place in Roundvalley Utah with their 3 little kids, Stetson Bo, Bailey J, and Stockton Bo.
Mandy grew up in the Bear Lake Valley also on her family ranch where she learned to love operating John Deere tractors while bailing & raking hay. She also grew to love horses and everything about them at a very young age. She used to love her daily summer rides on her horse to the Old Rock Store in town to get her penny candy and a Sprite. Mandy also excelled in school sports at a very young age. She loved to play Volleyball and Basketball for Rich County as well as traveling the country playing club volleyball. In high school she helped her volleyball team go on to win 4 straight coveted Volleyball State Championships. She was the “Team Setter” and still holds state records to this day. Mandy also earned valedictorian of her senior class.
Following high school Mandy was accepted into Nursing School on a full ride academic scholarship. She later graduated from Utah State University/Weber State University with her Registered Nursing Degree and continues to work as an RN at Logan Regional Hospital, most recently in the Cancer Center. To say that Mandy takes great pride in being a nurse and tending to her patients needs would be an understatement. Mandy loves living in Roundvalley as well as being a wonderful wife to Bo and loving mother to 3 beautiful children.
We have 3 beautiful children who keep us busy and we enjoy every minute of it!
